Q: Where are the Training Centres based?
There are state of the art training centres across the country which you will attend to complete your practical training – there will be one located near to where you live.
Q: Are the courses approved?
All courses lead to recognised qualifications approved by academic bodies such as; City & Guilds , ACS Gas Safe, BPEC etc. and are to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 standards.
Q: When do the courses start?
There is a constant enrolment process – new courses are starting all the time and you may enrol at a time to suit you.
Q: I work nights, can I study part-time?
These are blended learning courses designed to allow you to study whenever and wherever you want, so they are fully flexible and can be studied around other home and/or work commitments.

Q: How long will it take to qualify?
The length of course depends on an individual’s ability & the time dedicated to study.
Q: Do I study online or at a training centre?
These are blended learning training courses incorporating home study and in-centre practical training as appropriate to the course.
Q: If I fail an exam?
Exam modules can be re-taken.
Q: What qualifications do I need to start studying the different trades courses?
An experienced course advisor will initially assess each individual’s ability and recommend which course is best suited.
Q: What are the differences between Domestic & Professional courses?
Typically ‘domestic’ courses are NVQ level 2 equivalent and the professional equates to NVQ Level 3. Either level of qualification will enable you to work competently as a qualified trade person within your chosen trade. A trades training specialist will help you select the course which best suits your needs and aspirations.
Q: What is the cost?
Courses start from £35 per week. Payments can be either spread over the length of the course or a flexible monthly interest-free payment plan can be arranged to suit your personal circumstances (subject to status).
