The job of an electrician is an important and vital one. Can you imagine life without electricity – unthinkable! Every building whether it be domestic or commercial, needs a safe and reliable electrical supply in order to function.

The role of an electrician includes fitting, testing and repairing electrical circuits and wiring found in homes and businesses. As an electrician you may be involved in installing lighting and switches in a house or Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in buildings such as fire and security systems as well as testing electrical appliances at regular intervals (periodic testing).

As an electrician you can choose to work as a domestic electrician or a commercial/industrial environment. You can also work on your own or as part of a team.

Tutor is a fantastic teacher, knows his stuff and can explain everything clearly. The place itself is well kitted out and had everything I needed to complete the course. After completing week 7 on the third day, I was able to practise my skills making whatever I wanted, which was good. Even moved on to welding Aluminium.
